These are six training tools that can be used in supporting a governing body in preparing a Governor Mark application. Training tool 1 also lends itself to being used as a briefing for larger numbers of governors from a variety of schools.
These impact statements are real and permission has been given by the schools for their wider use. None of the schools and none of the impact statements are set up as perfect, but are certainly fit for purpose. The key question a good impact statement prompts is ‘prove it’ or ‘show me’. A weak impact statement will prompt the question ‘So what?’.
